Connie Burge has been tutoring my eight year old daughter since January 2004. At the time she was in second grade and struggling with reading and spelling. Connie has used symbol mastery with her with a great deal of success. By forming the words with clay, it helps her remember the letters and gives her mind a visual image. My daughter enjoys working with the clay and her reading and spelling have both dramatically improved. Connie is very patient with her and is sincerely interested in her academic success. My daughter has gained more confidence and continues to improve daily. I would strongly recommend Connie. She is professional and passionate.
