I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts at Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa, in April, 2002 after completing course study towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Education there. I have a personal understanding of stress and struggles caused by learning disabilities and will work with you to find creative solutions to your problems.

I completed coursework for a reading endorsement at Grand View. I am also a professional artist, working mostly in acrylic. I have also done work in collage, papier mache, paper arts, and 3-D. I authored and illustrated a children’s book called My Coloring Book (under consideration for publication). I enjoyed a stint as a community newspaper reporter (click here for article about Budding Rembrandts). This summer I will be leading a series of art workshops.
